The International Human Rights defense Act of 2014

   The International Human Rights Defense Act of 2014 reads like a do all act by the USA to save the LGBT people of the world. The world needs to do this, no doubt. But not by us.

   The USA affords rights and protection from discrimination for LGBT that leaves it one of the better places in the world for that crowd. The truth is that discrimination against LBGT is huge and ugly in this world, a far larger issue  than this country is able to address. Senator Markey may not appreciate that the large part of this world is composed of primitive cultures that have practices and value systems that have more in tune with times of  a 2000 years ago or more.  He can throw hundreds of billions of borrowed American dollars at the problem and not make a dent. Perhaps the UN would be the appropriate starting place for an international effort of redress and mitigation. Setting a positive example is the only real choice we have. 

   Senator Markey's  effort probably has more to do with stimulating a visceral reaction from taxpayers in the USA, making them appear heartless and mean as liberals are so prone to do. It is how liberals excite their splinter groups of supporters and generate donations and revenue. When the money slows from online fundraising they  publicize some fresh effort to save something, be it whales, turtles, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, Black and Hispanic victims of discrimination, people needing new cars or new homes they can't afford, government paid cell phones, milk. cheese, groceries, birth control, health care, gasoline, heating oil, airconditioners,  government financed vacations. The next thing might be  federally funded savings accounts for emergencies... in addition to social security. Or a credit card, paid for by taxpayers.  It's coming. You know it is.  And every time we say "Not no but Hell no!", liberals say why not? And here comes the money into liberal political action organisations like Obama's and Hillary's. I believe she has three of them.

   So, it's part of the liberal movement, or scam, Nothing more. Thing is, Senator Markey probably believes he is actually going to do something good with this thing. Where do they find these people?

The Quran’s description of women as inferior to and the property of men not only removes womens’ basic human rights; it also influence men’s view of them. As a result, Muslim cultural traditions have for centuries treated women as second class citizens, forced to marry and have sex with men against their will, and living under a constant death threat should they dishonor their family by violating the misanthropic Sharia laws.

The brutal treatment of innocent young girls may be shocking to those who do not know how women are treated in Muslim countries, but it would be naive to think that people change their habits and views and raise their children to integrate into what in their eyes are blasphemous customs just because they cross a national border.

The statistics speak for themselves. Research suggests that 91 percent of the between 7,000 and 20,000 honor killings each year are committed by Muslims. On top of this statistic come the countless cases of non-deadly honor crimes. In Britain alone, the police estimate that 17,000 cases of honor-based “forced marriages, kidnappings, sexual assaults, beatings and even murders take place every year.” In Turkey, 42 percent of women are victims of physical or sexual abuse. In Morocco, the share is 82 percent. In Egypt, 99.3 percent of women have experienced sexual harassment. Etc.

Another factor contributing to the Muslim rape wave is the fact that Muhammed, if he ever lived, allowed Muslims to take infidel women as their sex slaves. Using female prisoners of war for sexual gratification dates 1,400 years back to their prophet, who had a large number of sex slaves and advised his male followers to imitate his example.

While a Muslim husband can divorce at any time by repeating the word “talaq” three times, a married Muslim woman is her husband’s de facto slave, since she can not divorce unless a Sharia council approves her wish and sets her free. If she leaves without being allowed, her risk of getting killed is as high as the killer’s chance of remaining unpunished for fulfilling his culture’s and God’s expectations on how to treat women who leave a marriage without being allowed to.

The media is protecting his identity. Unbelievable.

Liberalism and the Suicide of America

 Government must take something away in order to give something away. When Government takes money away from taxpayers to increase welfare entitlements it is moving in a liberal direction. It is assuming more and more responsibility for supporting more and more people.  That is making government bigger, more powerful and intrusive. Reducing entitlements and cutting spending is a conservative move, making government less intrusive, less powerful, less controlling.

    Borrowing more and more money each month to buy our own bonds, keeping interest rates low, will result in increasing the debt. Increasing the debt is moving in a liberal direction because it makes government debt larger, takes money away from taxpayers in the forms of principal and interest and gives it to people through entitlements. These entitlements are ongoing and ever increasing. Growth of entitlements means growth of government support, responsibility and hence government as a whole.
    Keep in mind, if our government had not pushed the Fannie Mae and  Freddie Mac to loosen credit requirements, enabling banks and other lenders to provide mortgage loans to millions of people who could not pay them back, we would not have experienced the credit shutdown, the recession, or the jobless recovery. It was a liberal move to do this...loaning more and more money to those who needed it but could not afford it. This was  government intrusion leading to destruction of our housing and credit markets. They wanted to do the right thing and help people but they put blinders on as to the unintended consequences of the credit bubble. It's what happens when government interferes with a market.
    This also had to do with Congressmen accepting money (bribes) in the form of donations to help them obtain votes of special interest groups. This is widespread in our government. It is a flaw. And it may be a lethal flaw. It must be addressed. Our President not having a line item veto is one of the problems. Term limits is another badly needed reform if we are to have representatives who have their eyes on the ball instead of their perpetual re-election.
    Increasing government borrowing like we are doing (liberal) will proceed to the point of  destroying the value of the currency. This is taking a while, but as the dollar loses it's edge as the reserve currency of the world we will see the unfortunate results of inflation and recession again, only this time, with the trillions of dollars presently being held for trading flooding back into circulation, it will be in hyperdrive. Liberals in our government turn away from this inevitable collapse of the dollar, acting like it will never come. They know that they will not be held to account, personally, and that is enough for them to blindly follow President Obama into his world of social programs and expansion of the welfare state.
   Working a problem over and over the same way hoping for a different outcome is one definition of insanity. Pie in the sky people who know what they want but don't have any idea of the cost vote their liberal pork providers into office and they spend and spend and spend. When they team up with myopic, dollar hungry media owners they win elections by selective reporting,  manipulating public opinion. When one has the media on their side one cannot help but win elections. Insanity then rules.
    This insanity brings destruction. I think the reason this country has survived as long as it has is because of the tendency of people to vote against national suicide. Things are looking pretty bad everywhere we look. Liberals either cannot understand just how bad the threats are or choose to ignore them in favor of their own political agendas. American Democracy is facing it's own suicide. Will America vote to save itself or will it vote to give away it's last drop of blood?

For Democratic Government, Trust Is Important

   In light of the worldwide threat of terrorism presented by Islamic Fundamentalism, the monitoring by the NSA is acceptable for me, personally. Our borders are porous. Every yard of boundary represents a potential entry point. It is impossible to keep the criminally minded people out. Our government is tasked with doing that...the impossible.
  The trouble comes when we cannot trust the government to maintain our constitution. When we see our government anxious to curtail liberties guaranteed by the US Constitution we become wary. When we see them covering up dreadful mistakes with thin lies, we become wary. When our Mass Media Corporations obviously promote dishonesty and ignore truth, we become wary.
   In light of this, how do we trust the government not to use NSA monitoring information to quell political dissent? How do we trust the President to preserve and protect the Constitution when he brags about enacting his agenda without the US Congress when the US Congress is...us?

If You Can Control the News, You can Control Everything

   If you can control the news, you can do anything. When the Main Stream Media takes it upon itself to filter news stories in favor of some and in opposition to others, those people are literally picking our leaders, ie. Hillary Clinton.  And, further, the Media people directly control what we see and hear about  in the news. They are like...Media Gods.
   This week the Media Gods want you to hear all about  the Oscars,   Miley Cyrus last week. 2 weeks ago  it was Justin Bieber in Florida. Sinkholes and cold, freezing ass weather...and global warming...I mean "global weather instability". Media Gods had to clean that one up since people and tens of thousands of cows are freezing to death.
  
  Yesterday Russia moved into the Crimean peninsular.   If it were the U.S., we would do the same thing. The U.S. would be moving military in to avoid a civil war type blood bath. Maybe we would not support the "present but temporarily out of the country" President, who apparently authorized snipers to shoot 70 or 80 protesters down in Ukranian streets. Or maybe we would support him! It depends on what the Media Gods want to do. Personally, I can't imagine a punishment that is too BAD for him. 
   When Russia does it the Media Gods  howl. Putin is a sawed off thug. An asshole and a thief. That makes him a liar, too. Goes with the territory. A megalo maniac. But he isn't stupid. He's just a product of his place and time. Clearly, the Media Gods think he is important..to the bottom line. First let me remind you that 98% of Americans have no idea what a Crimea is or how to cook it. So the Media Gods first have to educate Americans to what a Crimea is...in this case it is a place with people living there, adjacent to but not in Russia.
   Russian soldiers are now in Ukraine, on the Crimean Peninsular, are now subject to snipers and suicide bombers, IEDs  and all the same nonsense we have been experiencing in Afghanistan. There's no way to STOP the resistance or prevent their attacks.   Putin stepped into a tar pit and he won't be able to get out. The Media Gods will get as much viewership out of this as they can and then move on to something else.
   Every time Obama, or Kerry open their mouths about it we all duck as if we can avoid Russian ICBM immolation and for God's sake don't turn the channel. Media Gods will get their mileage out of that. Once the threat of nuclear war has subsided they will proceed citing all of Obama's and Kerry's efforts to control the bad Russians and run the gamut of human rights abuses and all of the tasty bad things that accompany armies of bad, evil, nasty Republicans. Of course, the US has never been able to control anything in Russia, and that's probably a good thing.
   If it were up to us, the people who believe in our constitution, integrity, wisdom of conservative values (which means simply not throwing out the baby with the bath water), we'd probably do a pretty good job with Russia. But it's not up to us. It's up to the Media Gods. Our foreign policy, along with our US Government, is run by the Media Gods. And the Media Gods have chosen Obama as their leader, for now.  Obama, Michelle and John Kerry. God bless them.  Everything they do is world-saving stuff. Everything. If Obama crapped on the front lawn of the White House in broad daylight the Media would applaud  his fertilization efforts. Saving the world. You doubt it? Think about it!
    Next it will be Hillary Clinton. Flew 7 million miles...that is her idea of accomplishments. Hasn't put her record out there and won't, because she didn't do anything. But that doesn't matter. She is being sainted by the Media Gods and she will be elected.
  

Perfect Execution Drugs

   Midazolam and Hydromorphone were used on Dennis McGuire last week successfully. The process took about 25 minutes.  He was unconscious the entire time. There were a few gasping respirations which are to be expected. There was no sign of a struggle or distress. No reported seizure activity. The family was upset because of the agonal respirations and their lawyer, naturally, said the man suffered a terrible death. But from all descriptions things went very well. Good. Now, who is next?

Let's Read The Omnibus Bill Before We Vote On It

   Let's take some time and read the Omnibus Appropriations Bill before we vote on it. Then let's have discussions with both sides...debate the bill's pieces and parts.  And then let's cut the inevitable pork out. In other words, let's get back to reasonable, responsible governance.
   It is difficult to see how our Congress can expect us to agree to accept laws that were written in secrecy and brought to the floor two days before a vote... before anyone has time to examine the thing. With our government's recent track record voters cannot be expected to trust and accept. Bad things happen that way.
   The Democrats have had their way in Congress and they blew it. 2014 is going to be a year for cleaning house. If only the ACA had been brought up for debate where all of it's pieces could have been examined we might have something that is working for everyone. But it was developed in secrecy and pushed through by a Democratic Congress. That is not the way the system was designed to work.
   As for the Omnibus Appropriations Bill, let's please just take a breath and slow down and examine it.

White House Group Think Is Driving Us Crazy

   Amazed by the unending outpouring of bad ideas from the White House, I have come to the realization that we have and continue to be the victims of Groupthink.
   Wikipedia's definition: Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people, in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an incorrect or deviant decision-making outcome. Group members try to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation of alternative ideas or viewpoints, and by isolating themselves from outside influences.
   So, as long as his "People" are satisfied with decisions, he's ok with them, too. And we let him get away with them because he is a victim and must be defended.
   The Democrats passed the ACA without a single Republican vote, based on poor assumptions and absent logic. Pie in the Sky thinking. Pie in the Sky because it is going to be an entitlement that makes SS and Medicare look like game of marbles. The Gorilla in the china shop is the cost, of course. Coming to bear, it will be shocking. One answer has already been floated. Single Payer System (U.S. Government) Take all retirement  savings to pay for government entitlements in return for shares in banks...or something. 
   I can see those twenty something liberals in the GROUP endorsing that idea.
   It's so preposterous it may not ever come up, but something huge and breathtakingly negative will happen when our credit rating is not only downsized but drops into a black hole. No country, not even the USA, can borrow it's way to solvency. Well, in the minds of Obama's neophyte Group of naive children, but not in the real world. Never.
   Meanwhile, Obama's Group keeps on Groupthinking it's way to amazement with itself, and we keep running around in circles, responding to crazy ideas coming in machine gun fashion.
